The festivals are multiplying.
This obvious trend is a cause of joy not only in our country. Festival formats add new dimensions to our familiar realities, develop tastes, provoke. But what do we know about their functioning and their long-term effects on the social and economic life of communities? What is the recipe for their constructive development and sustainability?
Various experts seek answers and explore the links between regular supply of cultural products and the concentrated, somewhat extraordinary time of festival events. In the Bulgarian context, there is a lack of in-depth research into the opportunities faced by festivals and their potential to develop sustainable attitudes towards a particular cultural consumption in their audiences.
MOVE.BG took a step in this direction and initiated a pilot project focused on the environment that offers such types of cultural events
Festival organizers and their relationships with institutions, donors, host cities and, of course, audiences.
On November 6th at 19:00 at the Home of MOVE.BG on Serdika Street, 20, we will present the study "Innovative Festivals - For People, Economics and Smart Cities".
