Dr. Robert Cremer, teacher, researcher, author of dozens of articles related to technology and management of e-government, held for the first time an online lecture on Bulgaria on Monday.
Shortly after the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and right before the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris (COP21), we gather ambassadors, international and Bulgarian experts on the topic of sustainable development, green economy and climate change.
MOVE.BG and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg are the initiators and hosts of the conference on the topic of "Sustainable development as a guiding principle in the 21st century." The event is organized within the frame of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union and aims to address the broader topic of sustainable development in terms of its regional, European and international perspectives.
We will discuss the EU strategy in tackling sustainable development issues on a global level and review the progress and achievements on the topic during the Presidency. An important objective of the conference is to raise awareness on the essential aspects and trends on the subject, as well as to emphasize the ways to achieve national policy coherence on sustainable development at national and European level. The event will discuss the opprortunities and potential of Bulgaria to best contribute to supporting and promoting sustainable development policies and how to create incentives for such initiatives. The conference will further address the role and engagament of the civil society and the business.
Distinguished international and Bulgarian experts will share their knowledge and expertise on the topics of climate change and green economy, the financial instruments and mechanisms for supporting sustainable development initiatives and projects on national and European levels as well as what and how the business and societal perspectives look like.
