A new campaign of “My Bulgarian History”

My Bulgarian history is an interactive map of Bulgaria, in which everyone together write and share story. The one that often remains untold - little-known facts about our common past and important public figures, as well as our personal history –of our families, our house or our street.
Gatherings of "My Bulgarian history" continue their journey in search of the unknown stories of Bulgaria.
Our fourth digital gathering (and first in North Bulgaria) was held in Veliko Tarnovo on 01/18/2015 at the Institute "Confucius", University of Veliko Tarnovo together with Atelier "History and Memory", TAM Association, "Club of the historian - Veliko Tarnovo" and the Regional Historical Museum - Veliko Tarnovo.
Veliko Tarnovo is a special city for "My Bulgarian history." Right here we started our fascinating virtual tour at historical map of Bulgaria last year and str. "G. Rakovski " in the city, was one of the pilot locations of the project. In the beginning of the new year we have returnned to the old capital to find more unknown and untold stories. In accomplishing this mission our partners, finders and keepers of local heritage helped us.
The project visited the various local communities in Bulgaria, because the main carriers of history are representatives of the generation that is far from modern technologies. The team of "My Bulgarian History" seeks to shorten the distance between generations, to digitize valuable knowledge that can not be found elsewhere.
Come and tell tales of our family, street, house or other little-known story of Veliko Tarnovo region. Because your history is our common history!
