Why:
Our country is quickly dissolving: an aging nation with the lowest birthrate and lowest age of mortality in the EU. Bulgaria is the poorest country in the EU, spending the least on education, and places last in media freedom. Bulgarians are the most misserable and pessimistic in Europe.
This is how Europe sees us, but not how we see ourselves.
Bulgaria was the first country in Europe to build an integrated system to cover all people with disabilites, and we have the second lowest government debt in Europe. We have the highest quality internet in the EU with a coeffiecit of 89.35, where the average is 84.65. Furthermore we have given Europe the Cyrillic alphabet and Bulgaria was the birthplace of the Renaissance.
‘You move Europe’ makes us look inward – what do you give? What is it that you want Europe to know from your Bulgarian point of view? This campaign is a place for creativity and gives everyone an opportunity to show their European side.
How:
Register on our website and take part in ‘You move Europe’ by uploading a photo with a short description. After the online campaign, a selection of the entries will be presented at an exhibition.
