In the framework of MOVE.BG’s programme “Law and Order: Justice in Five Steps” we invited minister Hristo Ivanov to answer citizen’s questions on the current state of affairs of the judicial reform and to present his take on the matter. He has agreed to participate and on the 7th July at 19:30 he will respond to your questions which MOVE.BG’s team will collect, systematize and ask.

In May two judicial texts were furthered: The Law on Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria and amendments of  the Law on the Judiciary. These are the first more serious and precise proposals for the execution of the updated strategy for the continuation of the judicial reform.

What do they plan? How would the separation of the Supreme Judicial Council in two would make the system more effective and our lives better? Do the upcoming changes involve the fight against corruption on all power levels? Will our justice be faster, more effective, transparent and affordable? To these and all of your questions the Minister of Justice Hristo Ivanov will answer on the 7th July at 19.30 on www.move.bg.

Ask your questions on the upcoming judicial reform by sending an email at contact@movebg.com to the 5th July including. Some of the most interesting will be forwarded to the minister and the others will be summarized and replied to in a written form afterwards.

In the days to the 7th July we will discuss the amendments in the Constitution and will trace the disputable moments and portray the biggest problems for the reform. Join the debate!
