Our special edition of Evenings for Dreamers dedicated to the International Women's Day brought together people from all across the globe in the inspiring and friendly atmosphere at MOVE.BG. Three outstanding women presented their stories and reasons to choose to work, create and make a change in Bulgaria.

Stana Iliev was born and raised in Berlin before she moved to Bulgaria in 2008. She is a PhD candidate in Political Science at New Bulgarian University and has an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship. Her interest lays in the intersection of economics and human rights and innovative practices in integration. Prior to working as a consultant for UNHCR, Stana has seven years of experience in the international nonprofit sector, including the Bulgarian Red Cross, Bilities Resource Center Foundation and the Trust for Social Achievement. Stana is also a committed human rights activist and volunteer. Her main areas of action are LGBTI and women’s rights as well as Refugee and Roma empowerment. On the basis of her work, the prize "Activist of the Year" was awarded to her by the Helsinki Committee on Human Rights in Bulgaria in December 2016.
